About Veya
Veya is a local trip-matching service for visitors to Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley. We help guests move from a long list of options to one guided fishing trip that fits.
Why Veya exists
Visitors near Aspen can choose among different rivers, float and wade trips, half and full days, private and public water, and many capable outfitters. The best answer depends on far more than a search result.
Veya brings the guest’s side of the trip into focus: who is fishing, where they are staying, what experience they have, how much time they can give the day, and what would make it memorable. Then we compare those needs with real local options.
Our role
We collect the few details that actually shape a good guided trip.
We weigh river, style, drive time, conditions, guide fit, and availability.
We explain the strongest starting point and why it fits the guest.
The licensed outfitter confirms details and handles the booking and trip.
What guides us
The goal is not to show every possible trip. It is to narrow the field to the option that makes sense for this guest.
Conditions, drive time, experience, mobility, and timing all matter. A recommendation should say so clearly.
Trips are booked and operated by participating licensed outfitters who handle guides, payment, waivers, and the day on the water.
During the founding-customer pilot, every request receives personal trip research before the recommendation is sent.
Good to know
Veya does not run guided fishing trips. The participating outfitter is responsible for the guide, booking, payment, waivers, equipment details, licenses, and safe operation of the trip. During the founding-customer pilot, Veya adds no fee or markup.
